Don't forget you can pick up every herb you see, even if it's green. As you see this is not a "Fast WoW Herbalism Guide 1-450 follow my ways and if you dare to pick up OTHER HERBS YOU WILL DIE IN HELL!" Don't do that, herbs can be sold for money, pick up everything. I usually pick up even the Herbs grey for me, they are good for alts when I want to level Alchemy.

First, visit any trainer in the main cities of old Azeroth - just ask a guard, and learn Apprentice Herbalism.

Learn Herbalism Journeyman.

- The Barrens - Yeah thats barrens, the Herb paradise. You won't find any other zone in this Herbalism guide where there are so many herbs as in Barrens.

100 - 170
When you reach 150, go to your trainer and learn Herbalism Expert.

- Wetlands - the red zone is the best after you passed 150.

Learn Herbalism Artisan.

If you are not on a PvE server, and you are not level 70 yet. Don't go to Stranglethorn Vale. It was filled with level 70 players when I was powerleveling my herbalism last time, and this is not a PvP guide.

After 245 you can pick up Ghost Mushrooms in the caves too.
270 - 300
